Each week there is a Business Referrers meeting which provides a friendly and productive meeting opportunity for local small business owners to share referrals and grow their businesses using the membership as a platform for new ideas, products and services. We have a guest presenter each week who provides information from their areas of expertise.
This week’s presenter, Patrick Docherty, will be presenting on what is required to get a home or investment loan.
About the Presenter
Patrick Docherty, Melbourne Mortgage Centre
- Worked as an Accountant with ICI/ Orica before starting my self-employment Journey on Monday 8th September 1998.
- My first business was the franchise – Cheesecake shop in Hampton and then Chelsea
- Commenced Mortgage broking in November 2002
Family
- Married to Joanne and have 2 Children- Grace 19 & Bradman 16
Interests
- Enjoys most sports including AFL, cricket and plays social tennis and golf
- Enjoys gardening, food and Travel.

- Patrick has been a member of Camberwell Rotary for 12 years.
- President in 2017/18 and current President 21/22 and have served on the board for several years.
- I was a team member on a recent water & Sanitation project in Timor Leste. 2018 & 2019
- Patrick is a Paul Harris Fellow- Sapphire
