Financial scammers and their websites are becoming more elaborate. Join us to watch Chris Galanis unravel a crafty website of a financial scammer. You’ll learn what to look out for and how you can confirm the legitimacy of these operations.
About the Presenter
Chris Galanis- Galanis Financial Group
Chris Galanis is a financial advice with over 30 years’ experience in investments and superannuation. He started Galanis Financial Group over 5 years ago to offer a better and personalised service that many clients weren’t getting with the highly conflicted financial organisations. Chris also advises in the highly complex area of aged care helping clients financially prepare for their move into residential care.
Despite challenges arising from the banking royal commission, Chris has grown his business with the ultimate goal in the next three years to provide a certain amount of pro bono advice to those who need it but cannot afford it. Outside work, Chris is married to Michelle and has two boys, Jack 10 and Will 8. He enjoys coaching Will’s basketball team, a sport he new nothing about but now thoroughly enjoys as he watches the team advance their skills and play great basketball.
